R.I.O.T. Night for OES Students
R.I.O.T. stands for Read Instead Of Television. The idea is for the students to turn off the tv and read or be read to for thirty minutes. Oakmont teachers will send home a note for the parents to sign to say that their child participated in the reading time. Then all the slips will placed into a bucket, where a name from each grade level, will be pulled, to win a prize. Enjoy your child to read daily, but especially on R.I.O.T nights!!
